This policy explains how Alyne Wear ("we", "us") looks after your personal information when you join our launch list at alynewear.co.uk.
Who we are
Alyne Wear is an activewear brand run as a sole trader business in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at hello@alynewear.co.uk.
What we collect
When you join the list we collect your email address, and a record of your consent (the date and time, and the IP address you signed up from). We do not ask for anything else at this stage.
Why we use it
- To send you your 10% discount code (ALYNE10) for our first order.
- To tell you when Alyne Wear launches, and to send occasional updates and offers about the brand.
Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your details. We use trusted service providers to run the list and the website:
- MailerLite, our email service provider, stores your email address and sends our emails. Your data may be processed outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards.
- Netlify, which hosts this website and may keep standard server logs (such as IP address) for security and operation.
- Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces on this page and may receive your IP address when it loads.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal record so that we do not email you again.
Cookies
We do not set cookies or use advertising or analytics trackers on this page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of this, email hello@alynewear.co.uk. Every marketing email also contains an unsubscribe link.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy as the business grows.
